Who could resist Jodie Foster as an agoraphobic adventure writer, or Gerard Butler as her swashbuckling protagonist or Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") as the eponymous Nim, who finds herself home alone on an island of indeterminate longitude and latitude?
Certainly not The Movie Slut.
Still, with all its rollicking fun, this movie really speaks to the power of the written word.
